How do I send a tracked letter online without going to the Post Office?
Upload your letter as a PDF, type the UK address and choose a tracked service at checkout. PostOwl prints the letter and posts it with Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£5.02 for one page) or Tracked 24 (£6.24), and emails the tracking reference when it is available. You do not need a printer, stamps or a trip to the Post Office.

- Royal Mail Tracked 48
- £5.02 for one page, £5.19 for three. Usually 2–3 working days after posting.
- Royal Mail Tracked 24
- £6.24 for one page. Usually 1–2 working days after posting.
- Special Delivery by 1pm
- £17.20 for one page. Next working day by 1pm after posting; postcode exceptions apply.
- Colour
- No extra charge for colour printing on tracked services.
- Tracking
- The tracking reference is emailed when available. Follow the order on the PostOwl Track page and the carrier's own tracking.
- Destination
- UK addresses only. You can order from abroad; the letter is printed and posted inside the UK.
How it works
- Save your letter as one PDF, signed if it needs a signature.
- Open the upload page with tracked postage preselected and add your PDF.
- Type the recipient's UK address and check the total.
- Pay by card or Apple Pay; keep the order email and your PDF.
Tracking shows the events the carrier reports for your item. It is not a Royal Mail Certificate of Posting, and it does not show that the recipient read the letter. Check whether your situation calls for a particular service or method before relying on tracking.

With PostOwl, Royal Mail Tracked 48 costs £5.02 for a one-page letter and Tracked 24 costs £6.24. Printing, envelope, postage and VAT are included, and checkout shows the exact total for your page count before you pay.
When do I get the tracking number?
The tracking reference is emailed when it becomes available after the letter is posted. You can also check the order status on the PostOwl Track page using the details in your order email.
Is tracking the same as proof of delivery?
Tracking records the carrier's scans for the item, such as acceptance and delivery events. It does not show who read the letter or that its contents were accepted. For legal notices, check the service rules that apply to you.
Can I send a tracked letter from abroad to a UK address?
Yes. You can order online from any country; PostOwl prints and posts the letter inside the UK. Tracked services are for UK addresses only.
